“There is poetry in a pint of Guinness!”
Visitar a Guinness Store House foi praticamente a primeira coisa que fizemos depois de chegar a Dublin, pousar as malas e comer qualquer coisa. Não há como separar a Guinness da cultura local, é a principal atracção da cidade, muito pior do que ir a Roma e não ver o papa.
Já tinha estado em Dublin há uns 8 anos, e tinha visitado este mesmo museu, mas claro que voltei. Posso dizer-vos que a visita está ainda mais interessante, mais interactiva e apelativa. O espaço cada vez mais agradável e podem passar à vontade meio dia por lá, nós passamos cerca de duas horas com a sensação de que foi pouco, mas infelizmente já ia fechar.
O bilhete é um bocado carinho, pode ser comprado online aqui, e custa entre 15 a 20 euros dependendo das promoções. Uma vez lá dentro têm acesso a três andares de exposição em que é contada a história da Guinness e o processo de produção ao detalhe, várias zonas de museu mais interactivas, filmes, uma série de cafezinhos e bares onde podem parar a beber uma Guinness, pois claro.
As minhas quatro zonas favoritas (tudo incluído no preço do bilhete), e que recomendo que não percam, são:
– A sala das provas, e todo o espectáculo sensorial que as rodeiam
– A aula sobre a melhor técnica de tirar uma Guinness de pressão, podem aprender e tirar a vossa própria pint.
– O bar 360º no último piso, para onde podem ir beber a pint tirada por vós ou uma tirada por eles.
– A loja, é um mundo de cerveja à parte e dá vontade de trazer tudo para casa.
Acho que é uma experiência única e que vale mesmo a pena para quem “acha” que não gosta de cerveja, eu também achava da primeira vez que lá fui, e passados estes anos acho que é a bebida com álcool que mais gosto, ahahah. É verdade que a Guinness não é uma cerveja fácil, é muito forte em termos de sabor e completamente diferente de tudo o que já provaram, mas é onde melhor se aplica o velho ditado que diz… “Primeiro estranha-se, depois entranha-se!”
