- Pocket Money: 25€ aprox. (10€ monumento + 10€ refeições + 5€ transportes)
DIA 3 – TEERÃO -> KASHAN
- Pocket Money: 25€ aprox. (10€ museus + 10€ refeições + 5€ transportes
DIA 4 –KASHAN ->ESFAHAN

Almoçamos no bairro.

- Pocket Money: 30€ aprox. (15€ monumentos + 10€ refeições + 5€ transportes)
DIA 11 – YAZD -> PASARGADA -> PERSÉPOLIS -> SHIRAZ

Details – 20th April to 2nd May 2019
DAY 1: TEHRAN
We’ll leave the hotel and take the metro to the heart of Tehran: the area of the grand bazaar. We will quickly realize that we’ll spend the next few days surrounded by crowds and dodging cars and motorbikes in the chaotic traffic. Visiting to Golestan Palace, however, will soften this first impact. We’ll then proceed to the Imam Khomeini Mosque and wander around the large bazaar where we’ll have lunch. In the afternoon we’ll visit the amazing Museum of National Jewellery. Still dazzled by the glitter of thousands of gems, we’ll head to northern Tehran by subway to go to the top of Milad Tower and marvel at the immensity of the Iranian capital at sunset. From there, we’ll continue to Darband, at the foot of the Alborz mountain, to breathe purer air, drink tea and have dinner.
- Summary of site visits: Golestan Palace, Imam Khomeini Mosque, Grand Bazaar, National Jewellery Museum, Milad Tower, Darband
- Pocket Money: 35 € approx. (20 € monuments + 10 € meals + 5 € transports)
DAY 2: TEHRAN
Again by subway, we’ll go to the old US Embassy in Tehran to observe and, of course, photograph the anti-American murals. From there, we’ll walk to the Iranian Artists Forum – if we are lucky we’ll have at least one good exhibition to watch. We can have lunch at the excellent vegetarian restaurant there. In the afternoon, we’ll take a taxi to Niaravan Palace, where Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi lived with his family until the outbreak of the Islamic Revolution, in 1979. In the late afternoon we’ll head towards Tabiat Bridge, lit up in fuchsia pink, to photograph and interact with the many locals who go here to have picnics at dusk. We’ll have dinner in this area too.

After lunch, we’ll visit Ali Kapu Palace and then head to the Grand Bazaar, one of the best in the country for shopping. We’ll have tea at the Azadegan Tea House, which looks like the scenario of an Arabian Nights tale, and we’ll return to Imam Square to wander, observe and socialize with the locals who flock to this place to picnic. This is what we will do on our first morning, which will begin very early on the way to the Amir Chaqmaq Complex. From there we’ll visit mandatory landmarks for first time visitors, such as the Water Museum, Sayyed Roknaddin Mausoleum and Jameh Mosque.
