O que ver e fazer em Quioto
A antiga capital imperial do Japão é a alma tradicional do país. Tudo o que imaginamos para além dos videojogos e da manga está aqui. É para perder a conta aos templos que podem visitar. Não percam a oportunidade de passar pelo menos dois dias completos na cidade. Deixo-vos a minha lista de locais a visitar.
- Templo Dourado e Jardins de Ryoan-Ji
Esta é uma das imagens de marca de Quioto e do Japão, capa de guias de viagem e sonho de muito viajante. Na verdade percebe-se porquê. Um templo (literalmente!) dourado nas margens de um laguinho verde e rodeado de um clássico jardim japonês não poderia ser mais idílico. A imagem é realmente bonita e justifica a deslocação ao norte da cidade. Bem lá ao lado, fica o Templo de Ryoan-Ji (o templo de Pedra), não é incrível mas já que estão mesmo lá ao pé sugiro que visitem pelo menos os jardins, já que o lago de nenúfares vale bastante a pena.
- Arashymaia, Floresta de Bambus
Começo já com um disclaimer, não criem expectativas demasiado altas para a visita à floresta de Bambus. A internet cria algumas ilusões e não quero que cheguem lá e digam que vos enganei. Aquilo é efetivamente engraçado e diria que vale a pena lá ir, porque não é todos os dias que vão ver bambus daquele tamanho. Mas chamar-lhe floresta já me parece um bocado exagerado, visto que caminhos daqueles ladeados por bambus incríveis e alto há uns 2 ou três com 100 metros. O restante é uma florestazinha com muitas árvores e bambus no meio. Portanto também se podem preparar para ter milhares de turistas por metro quadrado na zona em que as fotografias valem a pena. Eu consegui esta, boa sorte para vocês, hehe
- Templo Fukushimi Inari
Eu não sei bem o que vos passa pela cabeça ao pensar no Japão, mas eu mal podia esperar pelo momento em que ia cruzar o meu primeiro caminho de toriis. O primeiro não foi este, foi em Tóquio, mas o do Templo Fukushimi Inari é um dos mais conhecidos e imponentes e foi mesmo giro cruzá-lo e ter oportunidade para tirar milhares de fotografias. O complexo fica no sul da cidade e têm de apanhar o comboio para lá chegar, mas vale a pena o passeio.
- Quioto Imperial e Kiyomisu dera (templo da água)
Comecem o passeio pelo centro imperial histórico de Quioto no Templo da Água (Kiyomisu Dera), fica no topo de uma colina – o que vai facilitar o passeio, já que depois é sempre a descer – e é um bom ponto de partida para a imersão cultural na cidade. Foi um dos templos mais interessantes que visitamos, apesar de não ser muito exuberante em decorações, a aura do espaço era super relaxante e zen.
Depois da visita ao templo, comecem a percorrer as ruelas tradicionais que descem a encosta, onde vão encontrar imensas lojinhas, casas de chá, muitos turistas, mas também imensos japoneses “vestidos a rigor” nos seus passeios a pé ou de charrete. Ainda por cima simpáticos e prontos para imensas fotografias. Na chegada à parte mais baixa da cidade fica o bairro de Gion, o bairro das gueixas na cidade. Com os seus estabelecimentos tradicionais e cultura milenar. Hoje já um pouco virados para o turismo, mas com sorte, vão conseguir ver alguma gueixa a percorrer um viela. Encostem se lá a um canto para observar (e mesmo tirar umas fotografias, é irresistível).
- Mercado de Nishiki
Atravessando o rio, quem vem da zona histórica da cidade, vai entrar noutro mundo, grandes armazém, todas as lojas que podem imaginar em grandes avenidas. O oposto do Japão tradicional. Mas bem a meio da avenida principal vão encontrar o Mercado de Nishiki. O mercado vende um pouco de tudo e só duas horas da minha vida foram passadas a tentar traduzir rótulos de produtos de beleza numa fármacia local e a perceber que aquilo vale muito a pena para produtos belezísticos, mas a melhor parte é mesmo a zona da alimentação. A quantidade de marisco fresco, de toda a espécie e feitio, prontinho a ser comido é inacreditável. Tiramos a barriga de misérias.
